CJS Report #Lost Count
Well it’s been awhile since I’ve written one of these, but I hope you’ll bear with me and any rust that needs shaking off. When I used to write these reports they were as “Commissioner” Joe Stall, but I hope you’ll enjoy reading the thoughts of a simple “Captain” as your humble World Champion.
Now thinking back to when I first started writing these as a Commissioner here in FWF of course caused me to ponder about the current power struggle going on in FWF. Now, FWF is no stranger to power struggles and changes at the top when it comes to authority figures. Ever since Mike Farrell founded this company there has been a myriad of people who have taken turns holding the reins of power, chairmen, commissioners and directors of authority. Our current Chairman, my son in-law, Pain, came into his role when he bought the company from Mike Farrell after WarZone in 2010. After that he won an important legal battle to run then half owner Wild Bill Legend out of the company during one of FWF’s…. maintenance periods. Now he’s embroiled in another struggle for power against pretty much every major enemy that he has an unresolved beef with.
But let’s look at the board shall we? Sandy Strachon was at one point the owner of UCW and my former boss. Pain was on the team that ultimately ended UCW as an active company. Sandy’s wallet hasn’t been the same for years no matter how many gaudy nightclubs he opens. Wild Bill Legend has lost to Pain in the ring and in the courtroom on numerous occasions. At one point he looked poised to completely take over FWF until Pain intervened. Chris Sharp did completely own FWF until some assistance from Pain helped Mike Farrell take back half his company during a FWF hiatus. Pain has been known to show Chris Sharp up and intimidate him verbally and physically. Raevyn Nocturne was a one-time Commissioner of FWF who’s backstage feud with Pain is something of legend. Rumor has it she might have in some way been behind Pain’s firing in 2006. (She was always poison in Mike’s ears if you ask me) But Pain came back despite what she might have wished. And I’m sure she still feels slighted for not being the first woman warrior inducted into the FWF Hall of Fame. Finally Mike Briggs…. How many times has he been fired and or utterly humiliated while being in this company? I’m surprised he’s even on the board. Clearly he doesn’t have the money or the balls to hang with the other real power players, but I suppose they all need their coffee. And he probably serves as a good mouth piece.
My point is that all of the members of the board are incredibly sore losers. Let’s look at former authority figures who are not on the board shall we? I’m not. When I was fired by Chris Sharp I never once looked to get my job back. I’ve learned in life to just roll with the punches and keep looking for new opportunities. Predator was as former Commissioner as well with a well-documented rivalry with Pain. But he’s never once harbor since being ousted from power. And I’m damn sure Mike Farrell is scheming to take back this company. He’s probably sitting in a beach chair on some island drinking a mojito while trying to come up with his next FWF Magazine article. Hell even the wWo actually owned this place for awhile. Not one of them has tried to take it back once they lost it. I have no respect for sore losers.
(By the way at this time I’d like to congratulate Dagger Dave on his hard fought win. Good job son. I’ll get you next time.)
Now I prepare to face “Super” Benny Starr. He is of course another lackey for the board whom I have experience dealing with. Benny, I’d check to see how solid your contract for your next movie is because I’m going to ugly you up when we get in that ring. The board has seen fit to threaten my family, and that is one line I will not tolerate being crossed.
Until next time, take care everybody.
