Hey so I figured I'd sign up and do some rpig between other projects. Just one problem, all my accounts are still disabled thanks to someone who will not be named. I'd love to come back though if that could just be remedied.

Oh, and I assume you're pissed off because you lost?
To be fair, I read the match and all RPs, and he's a decent writer too. You were probably penalised for focusing a bit much on your past, and trying to put yourself over as way above the match and the fed. Though, I'd still have given you the win, on account of two things. First, he hasn't really gone into much detail with description, and while I advocate not over-describing every fucking thing, he hasn't set the scene sufficiently enough for me. Second, which is really fucking offputting for me and ruined his entire second RP. When he's running you down, WHAT THE FUCK IS HE TALKING TO? He's sat down in a fucking bar, running you down to nobody in particular, no camera or anything. Is he meant to be a mental? If so, awesome, but if not, fuck man, that ruined the whole fucking RP, which was written to a decent level otherwise. At least you had your brother videoing.
Exactly what I'm saying. I can understand that people dislike I'm too anal about every single detail, but that's better than too little imo.
What I disliked the most is that in his first roleplay (and I told him this when he requested feedback) he showed us NOTHING about the character. And it showed he developed on that somewhat in the second (though I'm not bitter about that by any means) by bringing in his wife and daughter.

You have to hit a happy medium with description, otherwise your writing loses all flow. That was always my biggest criticism of Mark, and he's a fucking solid writer. Too much description turns a lot of people off. You need to hit the point where your audience can sufficiently visualise the situation, but there's enough there that they can use their imagination. It's a fine art. Something that can be good is to have description in your dialogue, the characters commenting on odd little details, gives you better flow.
Well at least FWF is coming back, because it's more enjoyable here, regardless of win or lose, and I can grow better here. The fedhead never did give me a straight answer about what he disliked, and the feedback I received from others was (among some other things), "you're no doubt the best writer I've seen at such an age.."
See, we haven't even had a show yet and I've already gotten more help.
