G&G KILLED THE RADIO STAR
A vintage Shelby Mustang is tearing down the highway, the sun bounces off of the gold race strip printed on to the sapphire black paint work, inside the card sits the very expensive, heavy and now priceless FWF World Championship, is sits on the cream leather interior of this customised classic in the passenger seat next to its owner, the FWF World Champion Christian Lee, Lee hits the clutch and forces the gear change smoothly into fifth as he takes his Armani shades of his shirt and slots them over his eye’s and gazes out at the highway as he races towards the next FWF Live-Wire, hot on the tour circuit once more. He fiddles with a hands free adaptor for his phone as he reminisces on where he was a year ago and how far he has come.
It was around this time that records had been broken and a new name placed in the FWF history books, I had just become the winner of the FWF Blizzard in my FWF debut, and was all set for my first ever Genesis, in the main event none the less for the world championship...
Christian looks down at his championship nestled next to him and gives it a little stroke with a huge smile embroiled on his pearly grin.
What a fantastic year, winner of Blizzard, main eventer at Genesis and winning my first FWF world championship by defeating someone I may respect but above all hate the most, at this rate I will be Grand Slamming before the next year is up. It’s just a shame the fans don’t appreciate just how lucky they are to have witnessed such amazing match ups, if I was gone however I think they wouldn’t be able to notice the mass void that would be left behind from the G and G. Some people really don’t know a bit of glamour when they see it, even when it is laying out their heroes on their backs every other night
Christian laughs to himself and shakes his head. As he puts his foot down once more to hear the roar in the acceleration of the Shelby his phone begins to ring. The call he is about to take is from a regional wrestling radio show that has asked for an interview with the champ, something that is rare for journalists outside of FWF to attain, but being the Genesis season and all a bone was thrown and this dog happened to catch. Christian answers the phone and hears the booming hyperactive voice of the radio presenter below down the line to him:
And with me here now is the current FWF World Champion in this run in to Genesis, Mr Christian Lee. Christian how are you? Where are you? And what are you up to?
Wow wow calm down friend, let’s see if we can work things a little more conventionally here, one question at a time, I’m friggin great, I’m in my Shelby tearing up the tarmac and I’m on my way to Live-Wire where I’m going to be painting the arena gold and tearing someone a new one
Of course, of course, Live-Wire tonight, can you tell us who you will be up against tonight...Spoiler alert maybe?
The radio presenter is still extremely hyper, Christian takes a breath and shakes his head at the speed this guy is talking
Well there’s no spoiler alert, the match has been advertised, it’s the main event obviously, don’t were else you would expect to see Mr Main Event and it’s against some kid with a dream, a Mr Marcus Thomas Brody, and before you ask if I fancy my chances I’ll just tell you that I don’t fancy he’s.
The ever confident words of the Glamazon there then. So is there any “bad blood” in this on so to speak, tell us a bit about the guy
Well I’m not really on air to talk about other people, but no there is no bad blood on my side, maybe on his. You see this kid is one of those that borders on mediocrity and lives of the family name, he’s father not only was but probably still is better than him, and that’s no praise for his father. Marcus wants to blame everyone else for his own downfall and failings rather than look at himself. Take the recent Blizzard match for example, apparently that was my fault that he only lasted six minutes? Big deal so I whooped his ass at the opening of the show, a true man, a man of grit, true grit would have been able to dig in, look at me on my debut last year, I was dealt the duff card of being number one, did I complain? Hell no, I dug in and one the damn thing. And if this kid isn’t complaining about that he’s complaining that his father let him down blah blah blah or that I used him when he worked under me. It’s all garbage, I saw promise in this tool once, but just like he has himself time and time again he let me down. So to answer your question the guy is a loser, and after tonight that’s what he will be once again
Well looks like a match worth tuning in for then, but also you have a huge match brewing soon against “the” Ross Walker for your World Championship at Genesis...
Christian cuts of the presenter
Firstly let me say this, anyone who feels the need to put “the” in front of their name is over compensating for something and has a few self confidence issues, secondly this guy peaked years ago and I’ve already beat him once and thirdly that match isn’t for a while yet. You know I may get accused of being arrogant but it couldn’t be further from the truth, I just know what I’m capable of and I know who I can and can’t beat, but I never look further than the next match, you can’t do that because you end up letting your guard down. But tonight is going to be amazing, once more Glitzaholics and Glamorzons will be in attendance and big things will happen, notably MTB taking his ass back to the end of queue.
It must be great to be back though right? After the financial issues that hit FWF
What can I say some people struggle when it comes to using their head, unless it’s for getting hit with a chair, they just don’t know how to do run a business, or even a career in some respects, but I don’t really want to go into all that too much, but it’s great to be back and I can’t wait to show this fans what they have been missing, because there is plenty more from Christian Lee to come.
Well it’s been great to hear from you Mr Lee, all the best for tonight, Genesis and the future
thank you, but your best is not needed, save that for the card and flowers that will be sent to MTB and Mr Walker, and watch the space because this time next year it could well be me being inducted to Hall Of Fame after the year I’m about to have, 2011 is going to be the year of the G and G, Mr Main Event, this is Christian Lee’s year.
Christian hangs up the phone and takes a glance at his Championship belt and smiles, he pushes his foot to the floor and the Shelby takes off once more, heading for Live-Wire, the car speeds into the horizon with the number plate G&G 1 glistening in the sun.
