BETHEA: The path to Genesis has just one step left. Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to Live-Wire.
STRACHON: What an amazing night we have for you tonight.
BETHEA: I'm Ernest Bethea.
STRACHON: And I’m Sam Strachon.
BETHEA: Last week, Oswald Brodd and Christian Lee screwed “Dragonfly” Danny T. out of the Elimination Chamber.
STRACHON: And Brodd isn’t here tonight, so the DDT Kid will be going one on one with the World Champion in our main event.
BETHEA: How will Christian Lee fare heading into the biggest match of his career at Genesis?
STRACHON: And speaking of big, “Captain” Joe Stall is in action tonight.
BETHEA: His opponent will be the man that he tied with last week, Sah’ta Thor. These two will be in the main event of Genesis along with “The” Ross Walker and Christian Lee. A win tonight would give them the psychological edge.
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...
Orange and aqua blue spotlights aimlessly search the arena until "Composure" by August Burns Red hits the P.A. system. The lighting flickers simultaneously with the drum beat to the intro, the colour of the lighting alternating between the same two colours as before. With this, Camisado slowly walks down the entrance ramp towards the ring. [/i]
CHARLES: ...from Louisville, Kentucky ...weighing in at 154 pounds ...Camisado!
Blue and white smoke rises from the grid panels on the titantron as "Time is Running Out" by Muse plays. After a moment, the smoke clears to show Tim E. Vortex stood on the stage. He walks down the ramp, shaking hands with a few fans before rolling into the ring. [/i]
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from the Space-Time Vortex ...weighing in at 252 pounds ...Timothy Edward Vortex!
The bell sounds and the two lock up, with Vortex immediately taking Camisado into a headlock. Camisado begins to elbow Vortex in the stomach, forcing him to loosen his hold. He then sends Vortex off into the ropes, who comes back with a shoulder tackle. He bounces off the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Camisado ducks, hooking Vortex’s arm as he goes to bring him down into the backslide pin. [/i]
BETHEA: Could have him here.
...1 ...2. Vortex kicks out. He gets up and goes for a right hand, but Camisado ducks, getting him in a half nelson before rolling back into a pin. ...1 ...2. Vortex kicks out. He gets up and goes for a Big Boot, but Camisado ducks and rolls him up. ...1 ...2. Vortex kicks out again. [/i]
BETHEA: A concession of pins from The New Cancer as he heads into an interesting match-up at Genesis.
STRACHON: And of course Tim E. Vortex will be in the Something Old, Something New match.
The two lock up again. Vortex gets Camisado into a wristlock before Irish-whipping him into the ropes. He goes for a clothesline, but Camisado ducks. When he bounces back, Vortex nails a Powerslam. [/i]
BETHEA: Timothy beat a former Heavyweight World Champion in James Bohne two weeks ago. Can he beat another one?
STRACHON: Normally, I’d say no... but it’s Cam.
Vortex bounces off the ropes. He comes back hitting a running Senton, going straight into the cover. ...1 ...2. Camisado kicks out. Vortex picks him up and raises him into the powerbomb position, but Camisado counters with a hurricanrana pin. ...1 ...2. Vortex kicks out. As he is getting up, Camisado bounces off the ropes, coming back with a crossbody pin. ...1 ...2. Vortex kicks out. [/i]
STRACHON: He just can’t win.
As Vortex is getting up, Camisado bounces off the ropes again, but when he comes backs, Vortex nails a flapjack. He then begins to head to the top rope, but Camisado gets up. Vortex jumps off, connecting with a Double Axe-Handle. With Camisado down, Vortex grabs his arms and places his foot on Camisado’s head before driving it into the canvas with the Spaced. [/i]
STRACHON: Jesus Christ.
BETHEA: Spaced. That curb stomp could do it.
Vortex goes for the cover. ...1 ...2. Camisado kicks out. As he is getting up, Vortex grabs him from behind. He spins him around for the Time Warp, but Camisado counters, planting him with a bulldog. As Vortex is getting up, Camisado puts him in the reverse facelock. [/i]
BETHEA: Something that Produces Results!
Camisado is about to hit the STPR, when the lights go out and the turnbuckles set on fire. [/i]
STRACHON: Whoah!
BETHEA: That’s no mistake from the pyrotechnic crew. Somebody’s after Cam.
Camisado stands with his fists clenched, staring at the titantron when the lights restore to normal. Vortex grabs Camisado from behind and spins him around, hitting the Time Warp. He goes for the cover. ...1 ...2 ...3. [/i]
CHARLES: The winner of the match ...Timothy Edward Vortex!
BETHEA: The distraction from... well... whoever it was cost Camisado the match. Who could it be, Sam?
STRACHON: I dunno. It could be anyone. Everybody hates Cam.
BETHEA: Now that’s just not true.
STRACHON: I can’t wait to see who it is.
BETHEA: Well, you won’t have to wait for too long, Sam. Genesis is just around the corner.
Vortex rolls out under the bottom rope and makes his way backstage. The lights go out again. When they come back on, a casket is in the middle of the ring. [/i]
BETHEA: Oh my!
STRACHON: There’s the casket that Camisado is going to be in next Friday.
BETHEA: Fans, we’re gonna have to take a short break now. Matt Knox will make his return to the ring.
STRACHON: Meh.
BETHEA: His opponent will be one half of the FWF Elite Tag Team Champions, Marcus Thomas Brody. Don’t go anywhere.

Coming back from the commercial break, the scene opens inside Pain’s office where Christian Lee stands. Stood behind him is Freddy Jynx, his bodyguard. Pain is sat in his chair, looking at a piece of paper. [/i]
PAIN: What’s this?
CHRISTIAN: It’s a Doctor’s note. I think you’ll find that I’m not cleared to wrestle tonight.
PAIN: I’ve advertised Danny T. versus you in the main event tonight. What I am supposed to do about that? Well, if you’re not cleared to wrestle, I have no choice, but to strip you of the FWF World Championship.
Cheers from the crowd can be heard seeping through from the arena and Christian panics. He snatches the note back from Pain. [/i]
CHRISTIAN: No, no, no, you can’t do that. It’s just for tonight.
PAIN: The board of directors are already on my case. I can’t just let you skip a main event without consequences.
CHRISTIAN: Well, what if I found a replacement?
PAIN: Who did you have in mind?
Christian smiles. The camera begins to zoom in on Jynx as the scene switches back to the arena. [/i]
STRACHON: What does this mean?
BETHEA: I think it means Christian Lee has avoided a match tonight.
STRACHON: So what’s happening to our main event?
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...
The house lights dim down to a dull blue, and smoke billows forth around the entrance. As the opening guitar to "The Hurt" by House of Broken Promises rings forth, Matthew steps out onto the stage, and begins running from end to end, screaming at the crowd, getting them pumped for the competition. He then makes his way to the ring, slapping hands on the way. He slides in under the bottom rope, then goes to each corner, mounting it, and raising his fists to the air. After he's done interacting with the fans, he removes his trench coat, and leans against a corner, awaiting his opponent. [/i]
CHARLES: ...from Monterey, California ...weighing in at 240 pounds ...Matthew “The Raven” Knox!
Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" starts playing and once the song kicks in MTB comes through the curtain. He energetically struts down the ramp, slapping fans hands, and slides into the ring. Once he stands up, the song is at the guitar solo so he does air guitar and at the end does a powerslide in the ring whilst purple and gold sparks come out from the ring posts. [/i]
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Manchester, England ...weighing in at 230 pounds ...he is one half of the FWF Elite Tag Team Champions ...Marcus Thomas Brody!
The bell sounds and the two men shake hands before circling the ring. They lock up and MTB gets Knox into a wristlock before Irish-whipping him. He goes for a clothesline, but Knox ducks and goes for the Talons, which MTB ducks. [/i]
STRACHON: Swing and a miss.
MTB throws Knox over with a German Suplex, but Knox lands on his feet. He hooks MTB in a waistlock and MTB runs forward, grabbing onto the top rope, forcing Knox to roll back. Knox then runs at MTB only to be caught in a reverse waistlock. He then nails a Belly-to-Belly suplex. [/i]
BETHEA: Back and forth action here on Live-Wire.
STRACHON: What’s with it this week? Everybody likes each other. There’s just no conflict.
As Knox is getting up, MTB hooks his head. He goes for a suplex, but Knox counters with a neckbreaker. He then begins to head to the top rope, but MTB quickly gets up and hits him in the back causing him to fall into a sitting position on the turnbuckle until he falls back. [/i]
STRACHON: MTB Special coming up.
MTB runs at Knox with a baseball slide, but Knox pulls himself up and MTB lands on the outside. Knox untangles his feet and gets off the turnbuckle when MTB immediately gets into the ring and grabs Knox in a waistlock. He then hits a German Suplex, keeping hold. [/i]
BETHEA: There’s one.
MTB then lifts Knox back up before hitting another German Suplex. He then raises him to his feet again before nailing a third German Suplex. Suddenly, WBL and Benny Starr charge down the ramp and get into ring. MTB hits Benny with a forearm smash. He does the same to WBL. [/i]
STRACHON: It’s Super Wild!
BETHEA: Is that their official name?
STRACHON: Who cares?
He hits Benny with another forearm and then forearm smashes WBL. Benny pokes MTB in the eye. WBL then bounces off the ropes and comes back with the Stampede Clothesline as the bell sounds. [/i]
BETHEA: Aw, come on!
CHARLES: The winner of the match as a result of a disqualification ...Marcus Thomas Brody!
James Stall charges down the ramp. He slides into the ring, but WBL low blows him. Benny then connects with the Super Strike. [/i]
STRACHON: Super Strike!
BETHEA: Hold on a minute, Sam. The Raven doesn’t look happy.
Knox hits WBL with the Talon. Benny runs at him, but receives the same thing. James Bohne rolls out from underneath the ring. He gets in and when Knox turns around, Bohne lifts him into the fireman’s carry. He then hits the Assassination. [/i]
BETHEA: This was supposed to be a single’s bout, not a six man tag!
James stands over Knox. WBL and Benny grab MTB and Stall’s belt and raise them above their heads. The crowd boo as the scene fades out to a commercial break. [/i]

BETHEA: And we are back. Two great matches still to come tonight.
STRACHON: A doctor’s note has gotten Christian Lee out of his match tonight and we have received word that his bodyguard, Freddy Jynx will be replacing.
BETHEA: And he will be going one on one with the number one contender to the Universal Championship, “Dragonfly” Danny T.
STRACHON: At Genesis, the FWF World Champion will face three opponents. Ross Walker, arguably the greatest Warrior never to hold a world championship.
BETHEA: “Captain” Joe Stall, one of the first World Heavyweight Champions.
STRACHON: And Sah’ta Thor, a man who has come so close to winning a world title on so many occasions.
BETHEA: This is a match that could change the future of these men forever.
The lights dim, and a single white spotlight shines on the entrance way as Four Year Strong's "Enemy Of The World" kicks into life. As the first line is sung, an array of fireworks are set off and "The" Ross Walker walks out. He raises his arms to a huge reaction from the fans, before withdrawing them to form an "X" shape below his chin. He stares at the ring for a moment before walking down towards it before taking a seat at the announcers’ table. [/i]
CHARLES: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome ...”The” Ross Walker!
BETHEA: Well, we’re being joined by Ross Walker. It’s great to have you here.
WALKER: I know it is, Beast. I just thought I’d come on out and take a look at my competition.
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...
Blood red strobe lights pulse through the arena as Parasite by Disturbed starts to blare from the speakers. The music and the pulsing lights cause the crowd to look up in interest. As the opening verse reaches its peak Thor steps from the back. He starts down the ramp towards the ring as he grins widely. On the titantron the Empire of Blood flag waves while Thor slides into the ring and looks up the ramp for a moment. [/i]
CHARLES: ...from parts unknown ...weighing in at 175 pounds ...”The Immortal” Sah’ta Thor!
WALKER: Just where is parts unknown? A lot of people seem to come from there.
STRACHON: I dunno, somewhere in Wales.
"Real American" begins to play as Red White and Blue fireworks go off. Joe Stall walks down to the ring, pointing at the cheering crowd. He steps into the ring and raises his arms in the air. He bangs his chest and waits for the bell. [/i]
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Long Island, New York ...weighing in at 360 pounds ...”Captain” Joe Stall!
The bell sounds and the men stare down... or up in the middle of ring. They go to lock up, but Thor dropkicks Stall in the knee. [/i]
STRACHON: Wise move.
BETHEA: Joe Stall is over a foot taller than Thor. He weighs over twice as much as Thor. Tying up with him would not be the smartest idea.
STRACHON: I said everything you just said in two words.
Thor bounces off the ropes. When he comes back, Stall lifts him up into the Military Press position. Thor latches onto the top rope and kicks Stall in the face. He leaps off with a high cross body, but Stall catches him in mid-air. He then tosses him up onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry before nailing a Samoan Drop. [/i]
BETHEA: Samoan Drop by Stall. Ross, we’ve just mentioned Stall’s size. How do you feel about stepping into the ring with him?
WALKER: It’s not about the size, it’s about the talent. Something I’m sure Christian Lee’s been saying for years.
STRACHON: Oh no you di’n’t.
WALKER: Oh yes I did.
Joe picks Thor up and hits him with an Atomic Drop. He then bounces off the ropes and comes back with a Big Boot, but Thor ducks. He comes back with a Running High Knee, causing Stall to stumble back, but he remains standing. [/i]
STRACHON: And Sah’ta Thor can’t knock the big man down.
Thor bounces off the ropes again. When he comes back, Stall connects with the Big Boot. Stall raises his arm, signalling for the chokeslam. Thor gets up and Stall grabs him by the neck. Suddenly, Thor hits Stall with a chop to the throat. He hits him with another, causing him to release his grip. [/i]
BETHEA: Sah’ta Combo!
He then connects with a Roundhouse kick before hitting Stall with a punch to the heart. Stall stands in a daze and Thor waits. [/i]
STRACHON: He’s still up.
Stall then collapses onto one knee. At this point, Thor jumps up onto his leg and connects with a Shining Wizard, knocking Stall down face first.
STRACHON: He’s done it!
BETHEA: Joe Stall is down!
WALKER: Even I’m impressed. Well, a little...
Thor goes for the cover. ...1 ...2. Stall gets his shoulder up. [/i]
BETHEA: He’s done, but he’s not out.
Exhausted, Thor begins to climb to the top rope. He waits, allowing Thor to slowly get up. In doing so, Thor leaps off with the Guillotine Legdrop, but Stall moves out of the way and Thor hits the mat. He gets up and Stall Irish-whips him. When he comes back, Stall lifts him up for the Sergeant Spinebuster. [/i]
STRACHON: Here we go.
Before he has chance to hit the move, Thor hooks Stall’s head. He then counters the move into a Tornado DDT. He quickly heads to the top rope as Stall is getting up before leaping off and nailing the Guillotine Legdrop. He goes for the cover. ...1 ...2. Stall gets his foot on the ropes, but the referee fails to see it. ...3. The bell sounds. [/i]
BETHEA: No!
CHARLES: Here is your winner ...Sah’ta Thor!
BETHEA: Joe had his foot on the ropes!
WALKER: Foot on the ropes or not, Thor got the win.
Stall gets angry and Thor rolls out of the ring laughing. Stall begins to shout at the referee. He then grabs him and locks in the Captain Clutch as the crow cheer. [/i]
STRACHON: He can’t do that!
The referee passes out and Stall releases him. Ross takes off his headset and stands. With Thor at the bottom of the ramp, Stall in the ring and Ross at the announcers’ table, the three men stare at each other as the scene fades out to a commercial break. [/i]

BETHEA: Welcome back to Live-Wire.
STRACHON: This is the final part of the final step on the path to Genesis.
BETHEA: Absolutely. What about the Fizz being inducted into the Hall of Fame?
STRACHON: Rather her than that vampire-devil-bitch Raevyn.
BETHEA: We will have Something Old, Something New as FWF Warriors from the past present and future represent Genesis in a battle royal.
STRACHON: In a match that promises to be the greatest tag team match of all time, the new team of “Wild” Bill Legend and “Super” Benny Starr battle it out with James Stall and Marcus Thomas Brody for the FWF Elite Tag Team Championships.
BETHEA: James Bohne and Matthew Knox will pick up where they left off heading into Genesis.
STRACHON: In one of the most heated match-ups of our time, “Dragonfly” Danny T. will finally get his chance to face Oswald Brodd for the FWF Universal Championship. Who will be the last man standing?
BETHEA: And in our main event, four of FWF’s top Warriors will step into the ring, but only one of them will leave as the FWF World Champion. Who is the best in the business? Christian Lee defends against “Captain” Joe Stall, Sah’ta Thor and “The” Ross Walker.
STRACHON: And speaking of which, it’s now time ...for our MAAAAAAAAAIN EVENT!
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...
STRACHON: Oh, and Cam’s in some sort of match too.
A purple light surrounds the arena as "Poison" by Alice Cooper plays. After a moment, Danny T. enters the arena. He runs to one side of the stage with the crowd cheering, and then to the other. He then begins to walk down the ramp, slapping a few hands of the fans on the way before walking up the ring steps and ascending the turnbuckle from the outside where he shoots his fist into the air.
CHARLES: ...from the Dungeon ...weighing in at 229 pounds ...he is the DDT K.I.D. ...”Dragonfly” Danny T!
“Pass Out” by Tinie Tempah plays. After a moment, Christian Lee makes his way out on stage. Behind him is Freddy Jynx. With the crowd booing, the two walk down the ramp towards the ring. [/i]
CHARLES: and his opponent ...led to the ring by Christian Lee ...Freddy Jynx!
The bell sounds. The two men go to lock up, but Jynx kicks Danny in the stomach. He then hits him with a suplex. He waits for Danny to get up before hitting him with a bodyslam. As Danny is getting up, Jynx grabs him from behind and executes a back suplex.
STRACHON: This guy is huge. As good as Danny is, I don’t think he has a chance.
With Danny on the floor, Jynx slowly bounces off the ropes. He comes back with a legdrop, but Danny moves out of the way and gets to his feet. As Jynx is getting up, Danny bounces off the ropes and comes back with a Tornado DDT. Jynx gets up and Danny grabs him before hitting a Double-Arm DDT.
STRACHON: Let me guess... that’s why they call him the DDT Kid?
BETHEA: It certainly is. The Dragonfly is holding his own against the big man.
Danny begins to pick Jynx up, but Jynx pushes Danny back, ramming him into the corner. He then Irish-whips him into the other corner before running at him, hitting him with a splash. Danny stumbles out and Jynx executes a sidewalk slam.
STRACHON: I bet Brodd is loving this.
BETHEA: Brodd couldn’t be here tonight, but I’m sure he’s watching.
Jynx slowly bounces off the ropes. He comes back and connects with a legdrop, going straight into the cover. ...1 ...2. Danny kicks out. Jynx picks him up and executes a bodyslam.
STRACHON: Ouch.
Jynx waits for Danny to get up. In doing so, he runs at him with a clothesline, but Danny ducks and rolls him up. ...1 ...2. Jynx kicks out. Both men get up and Danny Irish-whips Jynx, but Jynx counters and sends Danny into the corner. He then runs at him with a splash, but Danny moves out of the way and Jynx hits the turnbuckle. He stumbles out.
BETHEA: Here’s an opening.
Danny hits Jynx with a dropkick, knocking him back into the corner. He then charges at him, connecting with a double knee smash. Jynx stumbles out and Danny hooks him in a reverse facelock before nailing an Inverted DDT. He then gets on the apron and springboards before hitting the Dragonfly. [/i]
BETHEA: Dragonfly!
Christian gets up on the apron, distracting the referee as Danny covers. Suddenly, Oswald Brodd begins to run out. [/i]
BETHEA: It’s Oswald Brodd! He’s not supposed to be here tonight!
STRACHON: Yeah, but we all knew he was.
Brodd charges down the ramp and gets into the ring. He charges at Danny with the Clothesline from Valhalla, but Danny ducks, pulling the top rope down with him, forcing Brodd over it and to the outside. Christian grabs his belt and gets into the ring. Danny turns around and Christian hits him across the head with it. [/i]
BETHEA: No!
CHARLES: The winner of the match as a result of a disqualification ...”Dragonfly” Danny T!
Christian raises his title into the air and the crowd boo. Jynx rolls out of the ring with Christian following. Brodd gets up. He climbs into the ring and stands over an unconscious Danny. [/i]
STRACHON: I don’t like the look on the Mad Viking’s face.
BETHEA: No, Brodd. Don’t do it!
Brodd smiles as he picks Danny up. Danny stands in a dazed position. Brodd bounces against the ropes. When he comes back, he nails the Clothesline from Valhalla. Danny begins to spit blood.
BETHEA: No!
STRACHON: This is just sick.
BETHEA: I can’t believe him.
STRACHON: Oswald Brodd is certainly the Last Man Standing here, but will the same thing happen next Friday?
BETHEA: There’s only one way to find out. Ladies and gentlemen make sure you’re with us on the 29th. You do not want to miss Genesis.
