[Fantasy Wrestling Federation]

“Sparkle and Shine” by Econoline Crush begins to play and blue spotlights search the arena, signalling the start of the show. This then transforms to “Edge of Glory” by Lady GaGa with green spotlights as the camera goes over to the commentary booth.

BETHEA: Welcome one and all to a very special edition of Live-Wire. Tonight is the start of the Jealousy tournament.

STRACHON: Sixteen Warriors will battle it out for a chance of a shot at any title at any event.

BETHEA: And everybody wants to get in on the action. It’s the first heat tonight with Matthew Knox taking on the returning Ross Walker in just a moment.

STRACHON: Dagger Dave was impressive last week and this he’ll be taking on Seth Jacobs.

BETHEA: And The Meds are back!

STRACHON: Oh joy.

BETHEA: This week, Ritalin will be taking on Top Dog. Now, let’s take you back to the conclusion of last week on Live-Wire.

James gets into the ring. Benny goes to hit him with the Super Strike, but James ducks. James then locks in the Captain Clutch. Just as the referee turns around, Benny taps out and the bell sounds.

CHARLES: Here are your winners ...James Stall and “Captain” Joe Stall!

BETHEA: What a match!

James keeps hold of Benny, who continues to tap out. Cool gets into the ring and hits James in the side of the head, forcing him to release his hold with the Walk of Fame.

BETHEA: Aw, come on!

James rolls to the outside and Cool helps Benny up. The two then look down at Joe. Benny quickly bounces on him with the Fuji-Starr-a Armbar and Cool applies the D4T.

BETHEA: Not this. That man is sixty years old!

STRACHON: He’s not too old to take a walk on the Hollywood Boulevard![/quote]

STRACHON: As a result, Joe Stall is unable to be here tonight. But the New Directions will try to get some revenge.

BETHEA: That’s right. In our main event, we have a double Jealousy opener with The New Directions facing off against Better than Sex.

STRACHON: And that will also be for the FWF Elite Tag Team Championship!

CHARLES: The following round one Jealousy tournament match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...

The house lights dim down to a dull blue, and smoke billows forth around the entrance. As the opening guitar to "The Hurt" by House of Broken Promises rings forth, Matthew steps out onto the stage, with Astryd at his side. She stands watching him as he begins running from end to end, screaming at the crowd, getting them pumped for the competition. He then makes his way back to Astryd, and the two advance onward to the ring, slapping hands on the way. He slides in under the bottom rope.

CHARLES: ...accompanied to the ring by Astryd Thorn ...from Monterey, California ...weighing in at 240 pounds ...Matthew “The Raven” Knox!

The lights dim, and a single white spotlight shines on the entrance way as Four Year Strong's "Enemy Of The World" kicks into life. As the first line is sung, an array of fireworks are set off and "The" Ross Walker walks out. He raises his arms to a huge reaction from the fans, before withdrawing them to form an "X" shape below his chin. He stares at the ring for a moment before walking down towards it, ignoring the fans, fully focused on the match ahead.

CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Newcastle, England ...weighing in at 235 pounds ...”The” Ross Walker!

The bell sounds and the two go to lock up, but Ross circles around Knox, quickly applying a waistlock. Grabbing Knox by the head, Ross takes him over to the corner and slams it against the turnbuckle. He then Irish-whips him into the opposite corner and when Knox stumbles out, Ross nails an Armdrag.

BETHEA: Ross won the tournament last year. Can he win it two years running?

STRACHON: There’s a lot of competition this year. At least he’s got an easy first round match.

As Knox is getting up, Ross bounces off the ropes. He comes back with a Lariat, but Knox ducks. Ross turns around and Knox kicks him in the stomach before hitting a Neckbreaker. Knox then quickly heads to the top rope as his opponent stands. He leaps off, hitting Ross with a High Crossbody.

BETHEA: Doesn’t look so easy.

STRACHON: Pfft, Ross is just shaking off some ring rust.

Knox begins to pick Ross up, but Ross pushes Knox back, ramming him into the corner. He then Irish-whips him into the other corner before running at him, hitting him with a High Knee. Knox stumbles out and Ross executes the Tigerbomb.

STRACHON: What a move!

Ross picks Knox up and hits him with a Snap Suplex before covering. ...1 ...2. Knox kicks out. Ross picks him up, but Knox begins to fight back, hitting Ross in the gut. He hits him in the chest before delivering a right hand to his face. Ross retaliates with a European Uppercut. Knox returns it. Ross goes for a right hand, but Knox ducks.

BETHEA: This could be it.

Knox kicks Ross in the stomach before Irish-whipping him. When he comes back, Knox goes for the Talon, but Ross ducks. Knox turns around and Ross takes him over with an Armdrag, keeping hold of the arm to lock in the Anaconda Vice. Knox taps out and the bell sounds.

CHARLES: The winner of the match and advancing into the next round ...”The” Ross Walker!

BETHEA: Ross Walker is going to Jealousy!

STRACHON: But who will he be facing in the quarter finals? Will it be Ritalin... or will it be Top Dog?

BETHEA: We’ll find out right after this break.

Coming back from the commercial break, the scene opens backstage to show Linda Myles stood in front of a large monitor with a green Live-Wire logo showing. Stood beside her is Tim E. Vortex and a small cheer can be heard.

MYLES: Hello, everyone, I’m Linda Myles. My guest at this time is Timothy Edward Vortex.

VORTEX: Simply marvellous to be here, Linda.

MYLES: Now, you haven’t entered into the Jealousy tournament. You currently only have one loss to your name, so...

VORTEX: I believe I can predict the climax of your question. Whilst, naturally, Jealousy was appealing, I wish to concentrate on the Lost Heroes league. I feel...

Suddenly, a gunshot is heard and the monitor behind the two smashes to pieces. Vortex does his best to shield Linda. The camera quickly turns around to show a man with a black suit and yellow shirt fleeing with a gun. The scene quickly switches to the arena.

STRACHON: What the fuck?

BETHEA: Well, folks, we appear to be going through some technical difficulties at the mome...

STRACHON: Fuck that, Beast. Someone just tried to kill one of our Warriors!

BETHEA: Our producers are telling me that no one was hurt and whoever it was got away. We’ll give you an update as we hear it.

STRACHON: Who was that guy, Beast? And what does he want with Vortex?

BETHEA: I know as much as you do, Sam. Well, anyway... the show must go on.

CHARLES: The following round one Jealousy tournament match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first...

“Too Many Puppies” by Primus begins to play. Top Dog enters the arena. He walks down the ramp, slapping the hands of a few fans as he goes before climbing into the ring.

CHARLES: ...from Glasgow, Scotland ...weighing in at 190 pounds ...Top Dog!

Ritalin makes a hasty entrance on stage and looks back and forth at the crowd. He stops in the center and keeps looking back and forth, than taps his right wrist with two fingers from his left hand twice than puts his left hand in the air and spins it around while screaming “Time to take your Meds“. Than with a huge smile he jogs down the ramp toward the ring saying things to pump everyone who can hear up. He then slides under the bottom rope jumps to his feet and screams. After that he rushes to a corner jumps up on the middle rope and starts fist pumping and the crowd joins him. After doing so he jumps down and waits for the match to begin.

CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Cornwall, New York ...weighing in at 185 pounds ...Ritalin!

The bell sounds and the two tie up in the middle of the ring. Ritalin then turns the grapple into a headlock. Dog tries to fight his way out of it, hitting Ritalin in the stomach a few times until he loosens his hold. He then sends Ritalin into the ropes. When he comes back, Dog connects with a Lariat.

STRACHON: UC-Dub!

With Ritalin on the floor, Dog slowly bounces off the ropes. He comes back with an Elbow Drop, but Ritalin moves out of the way and gets to his feet. As Dog is getting up, Ritalin bounces off the ropes and comes back with a Clothesline. Dog gets up and Ritalin grabs him before hitting a Hurricanrana.

BETHEA: Nice move from the former Tag Team and Television Champion.

Ritalin picks Dog up and sends him into the corner. He charges at him, but Dog moves out of the way and Ritalin hits the turnbuckle. Dog then executes a Neckbreaker and goes straight into the cover. ...1 ...2. Ritalin gets his shoulder up.

BETHEA: And Ritalin is still in this thing.

STRACHON: Meh...

Dog picks Ritalin up and grabs him by the head. He then slams it against the turnbuckle before Irish-whipping him into the opposite corner. He charges at him, hitting a Splash. Ritalin stumbles out and Dog nails a Swinging Neckbreaker.

STRACHON: UC-Dub!

BETHEA: Knock it off!

With the crowd booing, Dog heads to the top rope as Ritalin is getting up. He leaps off, but Ritalin quickly catches him in mid-air with the BKO. He goes for the cover. ...1 ...2 ...3.

BETHEA: From out of nowhere! That was incredible.

CHARLES: The winner of the match and advancing into the next round ...Ritalin!

STRACHON: This is an outrage!

BETHEA: Welcome back to FWF, Bert Ritalin.

STRACHON: What is happening to this company?

BETHEA: We still have so much great action for you tonight.

STRACHON: Dagger Dave hopes to make his presence felt in just a little while, when he faces Seth Jacobs in his debut match.

BETHEA: And in our main event, we have a highly anticipated bout between Better than Sex and the New Directions.

STRACHON: The winners will not only be going to Jealousy, but they’ll be going with the Elite Tag Team titles.

BETHEA: Stick around for all the fun.

CHARLES: The following round one Jealousy tournament match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...

“The Hatred” blares and the crowd look at the entrance, as the newcomer Dagger Dave walks out, many already with a growing distaste for the man. He is in a cutoff that says “I Care For Three People” on the front and on the back it says “Me, Myself, and I” and his normal wrestling trunks. He walks down the ramp with a microphone in his hand, obviously with something to say.

BETHEA: Here comes one of the newest Warriors of FWF. Dagger Dave was able to snag an impressive win over two UCW veterans last week.

STRACHON: And tonight he goes up against a newcomer by the name of Seth Jacobs in the Jealousy Tournament.

Dave rolls under the ropes and into the ring. His music quickly dies down and he stares at the crowd, waiting for the few that are still jeering to quiet down. Pacing himself through the ring, he finally gets the silence he wanted.

DAVE: Last week, I made my debut here in FWF by beating two “veterans” that were simply no match for my talent.

Dave wipes his forehead from the slight sweat that was beginning to drip down.

DAVE: Now, I face some new kid that goes by Seth Jacobs. Now, I may be new here, but if this is the kind of talent I have to go through, then I will walk through this tournament like it is nothing.

His arrogance begins to gradually gain him more hatred from the fans, who did not appreciate his comments whatsoever. He didn’t give a hoot though, because even his cutoff showed he cared only about himself.

DAVE: Hate me all you want, but I am out here to speak the truth! I am not out here to tell you guys lies to make you like me. I am out here to tell you the truth. And the truth is, I am here to tell you that I am going to win the Jealousy Tournament and become the fastest rising Warrior in FWF history!

STRACHON: Love it.

BETHEA: Considering the talent that is in this tournament, I’d be careful if I was him.

DAVE: You know why I am going to win it? Because I am “Insane in the Membrane”, “The Emotionless”, The Psychotic”, “The BADDEST Mother Fucker in the Arena”! I am Dagger Dave and I am going to do ANYTHING to make sure that I am the winner of this tournament!

Dave begins to point at certain individuals one at a time.

DAVE: And I do not need you, or you, and I sure as hell do not need you to support me during this tournament!

A very small “You Suck” chant starts in the crowd, but it is just enough to get Dave’s attention.

DAVE: I suck? Tell me something, If I sucked, would I be here right now? No, I’d be like you standing up in the umpteenth row, where tickets are four bucks and you barely could pay for that!

BETHEA: It doesn’t seem like Dave wants to be a fan favourite with the FWF fans.

STRACHON: Maybe he’ll bring the kitchen sink back and hit them with it.

BETHEA: How did he manage to find that underneath there?

STRACHON: Who knows what’s under there? For all we know, there could be a dead prostitute down there.

BETHEA: Is that what that awful smell is?

STRACHON: No. My ex-wife’s in the crowd tonight.

DAVE: Tonight, I will become two and zero in FWF and the only way that won’t happen is if God himself strikes me down with hail the size of a fully loaded Hummer. Seth Jacobs, I know you are watching this, so let me make one thing clear. Tonight, I am going to make you wish you never stepped in the ring with me. You are going to go backstage and realize that you’re a nobody and will ALWAYS be a nobody. And THAT…is the real fucking deal.

"Killing in the Name" by Rage Against The Machine plays. Seth enters the arena. He walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring.

CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Atlanta, Georgia ...weighing in at 225 pounds ...Seth Jacobs!

Straight away, Dave hits Seth in the face with the microphone, knocking him back into the corner. He then orders the referee to ring the bell and he complies. Dave drags Seth out and executes the Backstabbed.

STRACHON: In the face!

BETHEA: Have to say... I don’t think I like Seth’s chances.

The crowd begin to boo as Dave looks down at Seth. He then grabs him before locking in the Bleed Out, which causes Seth to tap out. The bell sounds.

CHARLES: The winner of the match and advancing into the next round ...Dagger Dave!

BETHEA: I think he’s made his point.

STRACHON: I’m telling you, Beast... this is the kid to watch.

BETHEA: Welcome back to this Jealousy edition of Live-Wire.

STRACHON: We’ve had an amazing show so far.

BETHEA: But it’s not over yet.

STRACHON: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time ...for our MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN EVENT!

CHARLES: The following round one Double Jealousy Tournament match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Fantasy Wrestling Federation Elite Tag Team Championships! Introducing first...

A hot pink light surrounds the arena as "I am the One and Only" begins to play and Mark Briggs steps out on stage. The song switches to "Simply the Best" as Jack and Benny enter. They walk down the ramp with Briggs following and stand on opposite sides of the ring where the leap onto the apron. They then springboard into the ring where the high five before shooting their right fists into the air to a booing crowd.

CHARLES: ...accompanied to the ring by Mark Briggs ...from Hollywood; the Capital of the World ...the team of “Super” Benny Starr and “Ultra” Jack Cool ...Better than Sex!

The UCW theme tune then begins to play and the crowd shoot to their feet. After a moment, MTB and James Stall make their way out on stage. They pose for a moment before gesturing towards the entranceway where Marcus Brody enters. The three then make their way down the ramp with MTB and James slapping the hands of fans before getting into the ring.

CHARLES: And their opponents ...accompanied by Marcus Brody ...at a combined weight of 485 pounds ...the team of James Stall and Marcus Thomas Brody ...the FWF Elite Tag Team Champions ...The New Directions!

BETHEA: Here we go!

The bell sounds and Benny starts things off with MTB. They go to lock up, but Benny knees MTB in the stomach. He then bounces off the ropes, but when he comes back, MTB catches him in a reverse waistlock. He then throws him over with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex.

STRACHON: One day, he won’t use a single suplex.

Benny tags in Cool and MTB does the same to James. Cool and James go to lock up, but Cool circles around James, getting him into a waistlock. James counters, raising Cool into the fireman’s carry before nailing a Samoan Drop.

BETHEA: It’s just not their day today.

Cool tags Benny in, who immediately hits a Chop Block. The two then begin stomping away and James, until the referee forces Cool to get onto the apron. As James is getting up, Benny grabs him from behind and nails the Russian Legsweep.

BETHEA: And BTS have control.

Benny picks James up and hits him with a Bodyslam. He then bounces off the ropes and comes back with the Shooting Starr, straight into the cover. ...1 ...2. James kicks out. Benny picks him up.

STRACHON: He’s Simply the Best, Beast.

Benny Irish-whips James into the corner. He runs at him with a Double Knee, but James moves out of the way and Benny hits the turnbuckle. He stumbles out and James nails the Sergeant Spinebuster. He then stares at the cheering crowd.

BETHEA: James Stall is thinking Shining Wizard.

Benny slowly begins to get up. James bounces off the ropes, but Cool kicks him from the outside, causing him to stumble. The referee begins to restrain Cool, at which point, Benny nails the Super Strike.

BETHEA: The Super Strike!

MTB tries to get back into the ring, but Cool hits him with the Walk of Fame, knocking him to the outside.

BETHEA: Walk of Fame!

STRACHON: And James Stall is lifeless.

Benny and Cool look at each other as the crowd boo. They then both ascend opposite turnbuckles. Benny leaps off with the Picture Perfect Elbow as Cool connects with the Picture Perfect Legdrop.

STRACHON: That’s all we have time for this week. Thank you for watching.

Benny goes for the cover. ...1 ...2 ...”American Made” by George Thorogood begins to play. Benny gets up, looking confused.

BETHEA: What the...?

“Captain” Joe Stall enters to a huge ovation.

BETHEA: It’s Joe Stall!

STRACHON: That’s not his music...

BETHEA: Good Ol’ CJS is here!

Benny and Cool panic as Joe walks down the ramp. He begins to get in the ring where Better than Sex immediately begin stomping away at him. They pick Joe up and Irish-whip him and when he comes back, they swing with a double Clothesline. However, Joe ducks and grabs them by the neck.

STRACHON: Uh oh!

Joe then nails a Double Chokeslam and the crown cheer. A “CJS” chant begins as the bell sounds.

BETHEA: There’s the bell.

STRACHON: What does this mean?

CHARLES: The winners of the match as a result of a disqualification ...and advancing into the next round ...Better than Sex!

BETHEA: No!

STRACHON: Joe may have saved the New Directions, but at what cost.

Benny and Cool roll out of the ring, holding their backs. They grab the Elite Tag Team titles and begin to hobble up the ramp.

CHARLES: However, since the title cannot change hands by a disqualification ...still FWF Elite Tag Team Champions ...The New Directions!

STRACHON: What!?

BETHEA: Haha! Look at the looks on their faces!

The two look shocked as the crowd cheer. Joe gets out of the ring and chases them up the ramp where he grabs them by the head. He then rolls them back into the ring before getting in himself. Benny goes for the Super Strike, but Joe ducks and nails the Sergeant Spinebuster.

BETHEA: The Captain’s still got it!

Cool runs at Joe, only to be hit by the Sergeant Spinebuster. MTB and Stall join him in the ring and the three hold up their titles to a screaming audience.

STRACHON: What a night!

BETHEA: This is what Jealousy does to people, Sam. Join us next week for the second heat. Goodnight, everybody!
