It was spectacular on paper, yet it felt rushed and underwhelming, except for Undertaker v Shawn Michaels, which I look at as a continuation of last year's match. Both were awesome. Sheamus vs Triple H was a lot better than a thought it would be. The wrong guy won the Punk-Rey match, and while the right team won the tag at the beginning, the match was waaaaay too short. That time could have been taken from the painstakingly too long Vince-Bret 'match' that was ruined by the Hart family. I was kind of disappointed by the overall show.
Predator kinda nailed my feelings as a whole on this year's WrestleMania. Great on paper, fumbled the execution. Punk should have beaten Rey. Jack Swagger winning the MITB (and then winning the World title this past week) disgusted me. Cena vs. Batista, on paper, seems like it should be this generations Savage vs. Hogan or Rock vs. Austin... except neither man is able of carrying a match without someone much better in the ring with them. So that match was just awful, despite the pretty decent build. Edge vs. Jericho, conversely, was a great match, but the build sucked.
Undertaker vs. Michaels was flawless. The build was the best the WWE's had in years, and the match was spectacular.
