Unfinished Business
Sometimes things happen that cause things to be left only partially done. It is moments like this when one must take care of unfinished business that shape their.
The last time Sah’ta Thor had been seen within the FWF had been for his match at Jealousy 7. Though to be fair there had been some management issues or something and shows had been put on hold for a while. Then things got settled out and about a month earlier the FWF had returned. Now Thor had spent the since FWF’s return to gauge if he should make a return or not but finally he had decided that he too much unfinished business NOT to make his return. So he had went a head and informed the management that he would be back in the ring at the soonest possible booking. It was a pleasure to know that such an event had happened for the third card of the latest FWF reincarnation. And what a match he had been booked into for he return to an FWF ring. He was one of six stars who had been entered into an Elimination Chamber for a chance to face off against the current FWF World Champion, Christian Lee.
It was ironic that Thor’s return would be as part of a match that would leave someone bleeding as a result. Not that Thor feared or even resented leaving his blood in an FWF ring as he had been doing it most of his career. Another irony of the situation was that of the stars in the match he had probably left the most blood behind him, He had been through both of the FWF’s Devil’s Advocate matches, matches that could only be described as brutal. It was fair to say that the hardcore nature of Elimination Chamber would favor the returning Warrior. However, to underestimate any of the other in the upcoming match would be a mistake of the gravest level and one that he had no intentions of making.
Even though he had accomplished much in his tenure in the FWF he wasn’t enough yet. Sure Thor had been the last man to hold the now defunct FWF Ironman Title and the UK title that had been merged into it. Sure he had been one of the longest reigning FWF US Tag Team Champions. Sure he had been stripped of the FWF Cruiserweight Title when he had went to vacate it. And sure as hell he had been the first one to hold the FWF Universal Title. Sure he had been directly responsible for the eventual retirement of The Predator after their brutal war for the FWF World Title. But frankly those accolades were insignificant in the face of what he hadn’t won over the years. He had been in sanction wars for the top prize in the FWF and in the end had walked away with nothing each time. He had shed his blood multiple times in his quest to be the tope of the FWF heap and it seemed like it his losses became increasingly more frustrating as he seemed to come with inches of winning each time.
So to say that Sah’ta Thor had unfinished business within the FWF was an understatement. It was that unfinished business that gave him the drive to return when he had. Though to be frankly honest he was back to make a point. A point that needed to made to the management and the rest of the locker room one and all, he was not a stepping stone for other to use on the rise to the top. No it was his time to be at the top of the world for a while. There were only a handful of people currently in the FWF who Thor knew for sure were better than him and that was only because of their legacies in the company. Pain was now the Chairman of the FWF, which was an honestly scary thought. Ross had won both Jealousy 7 and Blizzard a few weeks before but it seemed that he had made the management mad about something. Not that it really mattered in the end as Thor needed to focus on opponents he would be facing in the Elimination Chamber. Which is why Thor could be seen sitting in a study with a titles lining the top of the walls.
“So the FWF has once again opened its doors after yet another management issue and has been open for two shows now. Oh well I missed the Blizzard match due to having other obligations which I will get into soon enough. The bottom line is that I am back and I have some unfinished with several of my fellow FWF Warriors. And it is ironic that several of them are in my return match, where should I begin? The DDT Kid maybe? Or how about James Bohne? Or should I just cut to the chase and more on to the man I will end up facing at Genesis VIII, Christian Lee? No that wouldn’t be right as I shouldn’t ignore the others in the Elimination Chamber match up. So let’s start from the top shall we?”
Thor stops speaking as he lets his biting amusement carry though in the echo of his words. He was a man with many thing on his mind and frankly some of the names on the card seemed to be beneath his notice for the time being.
“DDT Kid how fitting that you and are once again part of a historic match. You and I have had our wars in which you took the Universal Title from me and managed to keep it until you lost it to Oswald Brodd. Some would think that I hold you resentment and rage for how it all ended. No Danny, I actually thank you because you freed me up to fight for the World Title. A title that some how remains around the waist of on Christian Lee.
Thor is seen moving a couple of files around his desk as he speaks.
“Though to be fair it being around Lee’s waist is better than it being around Pain’s. So Danny I hope you are ready for me on Live-Wire where I will walk out the winner. Moving on to James Bohne, what can I say other than you are a loose cannon who had had quite an impressive run. Now Bohne you and I have some history as you have been an arrogantly childish dick. Sure you are talented but also easily distracted so James I will see you in that ring and enjoy the aftermath of you seeing me declared the victor.”
Thor stop speaking as he slowly rises from his chair and moves to stand next to the full body windows that were behind his desk. He looks out over the night lights of the city below him as he ponders just who to move on to next. After a moment he chuckles in amusement before continuing to speak while he kept looking out the window.
“Camisado how can I address you in even the slightest of sense of seriousness. I know you are something of name around the FWF but frankly when was the last time you managed to capitalize on that name? When was the last time you were serious in the ring? In my eyes you are just like James Bohne, a childish dick. Maybe I am wrong about the both of you but that is how I see things.
Thor turns from the window and walks back to the desk. A desk that was more fascinating then some of the FWF Warriors in the Elimination Chamber. Once seated he takes a deep breath and opens a desk drawer.
“Which brings me to the last two men in this match. David “Shadows” Mosier and “Captain” Joe Stall. I have faced neither in the ring and frankly I welcome the experience to see what new opponents can do. David is supposedly some big star but I have never actually seen him wrestle as something seems to happen before each of his matches to make him unable to compete. And Joe well I respect the fact that you have done things in this company. Joe you have been around the block for a while now and to be honest I am sure your being the father-in-law to our beloved Chairman will make you the odds on favorite for the win.”
Thor pulls a crystal bottle full of reddish clear liquid and a matching crystal glass. He removes the stopper from the bottle and pours some into the glass with a smile on his lips.
“I want to make myself very clear about something. I WILL NOT be used as a stepping stone by any one in this match. I make my return to the FWF to finish some business, I WILL win the Elimination Chamber and go on to headline Genesis VIII. This is my time to shine and I WILL take what has so long dodged my grasp. I am back in the FWF with one purpose in mind and that is to prove that I have become the best there is. I am not being arrogant when I say that but I am stating a fact, this match favors my particular talents in the ring. I am a hardcore wrestler and I intend to use that to my advantage.”
Thor pauses for a few second as he downs his drink in a fluid long practiced motion.
“Yet one is probably wondering if I will be showing any ring rust for the Elimination Chamber. I can safely and honestly saw you are out of your minds. You see while many would like to like to think I am a man of exclusive FWF competition now that the Phoenix Wrestling Enterprise has been closed for some time. No I hate to disappoint but I am also contracted to Global Extreme Wrestling. Now I am sure some on the management think this is a matter of disservice to the FWF but it isn’t. You see I am back in the FWF, a place that has helped me become a better wrestler and to a certain degree a better man. I am the current #1 Contender for the GEW World Title and I am sure want to see just how I managed that feat. So enjoy the following clip.”
The camera fades to the image of a match that had taken place on 26th March, 2010 in the TD Garden located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Oliver jumps up, looking to bury a knee into Thor. But Thor gets his own knees up, and manages to monkey flip Oliver away! As Oliver stands, Thor dropkicks him in the knee. The two men both recover a bit of general life, and then go into a grapple. Oliver brings a knee into Thor's midsection, and gutwrenches him as he doubles over. He lifts him up... turns... slingshot powerbomb! But Thor uses the momentum to drop behind Oliver! He twists him, lifting him onto his shoulders!
:Mick 'Crell' Crellin:
Slingshot powerbomb reversed into Reign of Blood!
But no! Oliver follows through on the momentum Thor gave him, dropping and transitioning into a front suplex hold! He jumps and twists - but Thor goes all the way, landing on his feet and spinning Creed up! He jumps and turns, drilling Creed into the canvas, and flops over for the cover.

Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the Rebirth Contendership Tournament... and official number one contender to the GEW World Championship... SAH'TA! THOR!
“Now that match was against my friend and stable mate. A man that respect after a lengthy feud. Had he won I would have been happy for him as it would have benefited the stable. Yet Oliver Creed gave me everything he had but ended up losing to me. You might be wondering now why I dared to speak of this match at all. I speak of it to make you all understand that I am not the same man you saw before Jealousy 7. I have become more focused and have let many distractions cease to affect my journey. You MUST understand that I am a hungry man and what fill my gut is nothing less than becoming the FWF World Champion. In fact, I plan to one day be in the FWF Hall of Fame and one of its Grandslammers. ] I intend to capitalize on my new focus and be the man who carries the name of the FWF to greater heights. Heights that will end up making the FWF once again be a household name. I am a GEW Hall of Famer and soon enough I will be a double World Champion.”
Thor stands up slowly with a grin on his lips as he starts to pace with the energy of a caged animal. He was inspired and he felt that he need to make a point to those who would inevitably watch the video that he was filming.
“Which brings me to the point where I reveal the reasons for my new found focus. The first and foremost was that there was a time when both GEW and FWF were closed done due management issues in both companies. Now at that point I was in pretty bad shape mentally as I had been crafting plans within plans and plots within plots to achieve some pretty illogical goals. Couple that insanity with the fact that my wrestling career seemed to be crumbling as I had stretched myself thin wrestling almost every night of the week under multiple promotions. Honestly, the worst came when I had PPVs in three cities the same night. That was night that that pushed me though to the edge of my endurance. Luckily the matches were in different time zones or else I would have been in worse trouble then I ended up in. I ended up letting my contracts expire on most of the place I worked in except FWF and GEW.”
The pacing as stopped with Thor once again standing in front of the window with his back to turned to the recording camera.
“Like I was saying I was a mess by the time Jealousy 7 happened I was nearing a complete mental break down. Sure I seemed to be even keeled for those that couple of months before Jealousy 7 but trust me that was only because I was hiding the truth from myself. The truth was that I needed some rest so I could heal up and take back control of my life from my inner demons. The demons of despair and doubt, the demons of worthlessness and self pity, the demons of lunacy and narcissism. I had them all and it took a complete removal from a wrestling ring for a while to get me to realize my self delusional behavior.”
Thor turns back toward the camera with a serious look on his face. A look that would give anyone who watched this video the impression that he wasn’t finished speaking.
“The time off allowed me to reevaluate my life and quit looking to the negative. It allowed me a chance to find myself and actually admit the good things I have in my life. A son and daughter who made history here in the FWF before moving on to do the same in PWE. I have a half-sister who has shaped herself a legacy in her own right. Then a couple of half-brothers who are big names in the GEW. I was forced to admit that I was holding myself from reaching the top by doubting my obvious abilities. The time off allowed me to learn how to take pride in my accomplishments. Pride of what I am able to do instead of focusing on the negatives of losing.”
Thor walks over to his desk and pours him another glass of the reddish clear liquid in the crystal bottle. He downs the drink in one swift gulp then sits back down.
“Though the biggest reason for change of attitude is my fiancée Baby Dogg. You see the time off allowed me to see just how lucky I am in this life. It is for that I have become refocused on the sport that I happen to love. It is for her that I need to wrestle to becoming a World Champion one again. I have to proved to the world that I am not just marrying her for her legacy. But enough of that because I have one last thing to say before I am done. I am getting married in Edinburg, Scotland on May 18 and I plan on have at least one World Title in my hands. And to do that I will win the Elimination Chamber match and go on to face Christian Lee for the Title. I hope you are all ready for me because on Live-Wire I intend on make yet another historic mark on the FWF record books. I am back to handle some unfinished business and no one will prevent me from my destiny.”
Thor finishes speaking as the Genesis VIII logo is shown only to fade away to nothing.
